What a great weekend!
April 27, 2008
This has really been a great weekend for our breeding.
Yesterday, Adora got her CAC and BOB at a National show here in Norway, and today, Masque Marron’s Metz – aka Peppi – got her first CAC and BOB at an International show in Finland! She was entered in Juniorclass and was therefor not awarded the CACIB, but we are sure there will be other opportunities to obtain the CACIB later on.
BIG congratulations to our proud puppybuyers – we are so happy with all of you, and thank you for taking such good care of your doggies. Below a couple of pics from today.

A great day…

Today I am again a very proud breeder. Masque Marron’s Adora (Int.ch Belburgo’s Herkules x Int.ch Hazel vd Heerlijkelanden) took her second CAC and BOB. She is maturing very nicely, and we are very proud of her. Big congratulations to her owner Mona and thank you so much Irene for handling her. You are a great team.
So relaxing….

Alisea is enjoying the sunshine. She loves to be in the sun, if it’s clouded or raining she prefers to be inside on the sofa.
Have a nice day and thank’s for stopping by.
One of my favourite pictures….

This is our little Netta.
Not so little anymore, it’s strange to think it’s almost two years already since she was born. This picture is a happy memory for me, of a time that went by way to fast. Looking forward to summertime again. Not that I’m complaining these days, we have GREAT weather and it looks like we will have sunshine at least until Saturday when it’s expected to rain again. But that can change.
Enjoy the day.
I got this picture…

This is Masque Marron’s Maveric, aka Eric. Love his head.
Thank’s for sending me this lovely photo Jenny.
Hope you all have a nice day (even if it is Monday…) and that you get to spend some time outside in the sun.
It’s a really nice time we have in front of us now. Better enjoy it while we can.

Hi all,
Welcome to our blog.
We have decided to give it a shot with this blog and see how that works. We are keeping it in English, as we do have a lot of foreign visitors to our site, and most people understands English today. We hope you enjoy your stay here.
We have had great weather since Thursday. The sun’s been shining most of the day and the doggies are just loving it, staying outside for hours at a time. They find some very interesting things on the fields, not all to my joy but still very exciting for them (birds, fat rodents….oh yeah, he had been fed! and so on). But hey – as long as the doggies are happy…..
Today we had a not so very pleasant experience. We decided to burn the grass in the smallest field, to get rid of some of the high, old, dry grass. We tried in a small spot first, and as soon as the dry grass burned, the fire stopped as it was still wet on the ground. We decided to fire up a bigger part of the yard, and the wind was quiet and it looked good. Then suddenly the wind came, and the fire spread rapidly through the grass. Luckily not against our house, but against the woods……we tried to keep it down, but it got harder and harder, so we decided to call the firedepartment. After a short time, the wind stopped again and we got the fire under control, but the firedepartment decided to come anyways to make sure it went fine. And of course also the police came…..as it turned out, it is NOT ALLOWED to use open fire after April 15th…..so we are getting a ticket….. We can live with that, we are just happy everything went fine in the end, and that we got the fire under control. But of course we felt stupid….being sity slickers and all…..living in the countryside…
And of course – we got a big lesson……never EVER doing that again. I ended up inhaling a lot of smoke, so the firefighters gave me some oxygen (talk about feeling stupid) and then the police decided I had to go to the hospital for a check up as I was coughing a lot. I was fine, the throat and chest was just a bit irritated by the smoke, and the doctor sent me home and told me to rest. No arguments from me there, I have been feeling quite tired afterwards. Talk about a dramatic day. Well, that’s about it from the exciting countryside in Skogbygda.
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Check back soon for more updates.
